Our Story
Above, you see Margaret and Robert Hoffman holding the Century Farm sign presented by Oregon Farm Bureau. The start of Hoffman Farms began in 1909 by Richard and Cora Simms, with just the goal of putting down family roots. Through the years each generation has put its mark on the farm, once a dairy farm providing milk to the local community and once having owned a local Ice Cream shop. By the third generation the vision had changed to a commercial tree farm with the dream of delivering Christmas all around the world. Now the next two generations, Steve Hoffman and his son, Jake, are taking a more local and community focused approach as they embark on creating a U-cut Christmas tree experience that brings affordability and tradition back to the holidays.
